Where is it in Texas Hold'em Poker?

Ok, I'm sorta new to the holdem game and, my basic feeling is that its a game of chance, could someone elaborate on the fact that it also has skill and strategy involved, that would realy help, thanks.

While the distribution of cards in a given hand is totally random (assuming no cheating is involved), everything after that is a matter of skill - estimating your hand's strength compared to what you think your opponents might have ('reading' your opponent by their bet amounts, body language, play style, etc. is an art in itself), figuring pot odds, mixing your play styles (trapping vs. rock vs wild, etc.) and many other things all are part of this.
