texas holdem poker hand; Please help, I am learning The game?
on the board: Q 7 3 - 3 - 10
Flop: Q 7 3
Turn: 3
River: 10
player 1: A Q
player 2: A A
player 3: Q 10
Which of these three player has the best hand? Please explain in details why or how?
Thank you!
Each player makes the best 5-card hand they can. In this case (discounting flush possibilities):
player 1: QQ33A
player 2: AA33Q
player 3: QQTT7
Player 2 has best hand since their top pair (aces) are better than the queens of the other two. Player 3 is 2nd best since their bottom pair of tens beats player 1's threes.
Naturally, if three or more of the same suit were among the community cards, a flush could make player 1's hand better than player 2's. (Player 3 could not possibly have a flush in this situation tho.)
