5 card Poker: Card flashed, what are rules?

We were playing poker (texas hold'em) the other day, and a player rudely mucked his cards and they flipped over.
Not everyone on the table saw the cards.

Do the rules/general etiquette of poker state that the cards must be shown to all players, or turned back over and only the people who have seen the cards get the advantage?

No players can have an unfair advantage over any other players, so if anyone who was still in the hand had seen the cards that were flipped over, they must be re-fipped and exposed again so everyone who is still in the hand has the same information to work with.
