How to get a perfect crease-less rail on a poker table?

I am making a new poker table, it is oval, with a padded rail, my only problem is when i put the leather over my previous table, huge creases appeared in the corner, is there any way of making a perfect crease-less rail?

You will have to cut the leather on the curve; it's the only way to get the creases out.
