Why " Poker" is Back in the List?!!!

We all know that gambling is a general term for gambling using the Internet.While the policy does not expressly prohibit the promotion of poker supplies,the search engines sites will automatically reject any ad text that includes the word "poker" or other gambling-related term.In some situations, the ad is made active while the exception request is pending.

These games are played against the "house", which makes money due to the fact that the odds are in its favor.Typically, gamblers upload funds to the online gambling company, make bets or play the games that it offers, and then cash out any winnings.Some states(USA) have specific laws against online gambling of any kind. According to an article in the Jerusalem Post, a bill in Israel that proposes to automatically block online poker sites, online gambling sites, sex and violence-oriented Web sites unless a customer specifically asks their provider to be allowed to visit those sites, passed its first Knesset reading last week, taking a first step toward censorship.

A UK government-funded review of previous research noted a small scale patient survey leading to press reports claiming that 75% of people who gamble online are "problem" or "pathological" gamblers, compared to just 20% of people who visit legitimate land-based casinos.The advocacy group dedicated to the continued growth and innovation of the Internet, called Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association (iMEGA), is continuing its challenge to the constitutionality of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA) that was passed to block online poker and Internet gambling.

No problem untill and unless these games are just for the time sake. If they are played too seriously then there will be problem. There are so many countires even Australia issued some restrictions. But the reasons are obviously evident to every one since these games become adictions with which the players never attempt to stop but with  a gradual increase in their daily lifestyle which will become a part.This weakens their individual devolopment and will lose their values.
