Does anyone know of any vegas poker rooms that stiil let you smoke cigs?

There are only two that I know of -- Boulder Station and Fiesta Henderson. Both are away from the touristy areas of the strip or downtown and are mostly "locals" type places but Station Casinos run classy operations. Most of the poker players in other rooms simply get up and take a smoke break outside of the poker room. This doesn't seem to be a major problem for them and it's certainly better for the other players.

In holdem, all players are given with hole cards or the two cards dealt face down. After which a betting round known as the pre-flop will take place. Anyone who didn’t fold sees the flop which is the three community card dealt face up in the table and is shared by all players. Then comes another betting round and another community card, the turn. Round of betting will again take place and the last community card called the river will be dealt. All players who are still in the game will participate in the showdown; they will reveal their hole cards and combine it with the community cards, the player with the best hand wins.

The next important thing you need to know and research about are the tactics and strategies you can use against your opponents. Aside from that learning how a player bluffs is also crucial in your chances of winning the game.
