What an average IQ for a 14 year old girl?

Today I had an Wechsler IQ test done and I'm kinda nervous cause I've got no idea how I did since the person giving me the test was wearing a poker face lol anyways, I was just wandering what an average IQ is for a 14 yo girl??? thanks

The whole point of the IQ system is that it takes into account your age. If you think about it - if an 8 year-old takes a test - and an 18-year-old takes the same test - then of course the 18 year-old will be able to get more questions correct, because of their more developed mental skills.

That's why you have to give your age when you take the test. It doesn't *exactly* work like this, but a useful way to think of it is that your results are divided by your age. So the 18 year-old's results will be divided by 18, and the 8 year-old's results will be divided by 8. Because the younger person's score is divided by a smaller number, their results will be skewed higher - to take their lesser-developed mental agility into account.

These tests have been worked out so that - supposedly - half of the population have IQs under 100, and the other half have IQs above 100. Therefore someone who is exactly of "average" intelligence - for their age - will score 100.

You should bear in mind that these tests are not a perfect representation of your overall intelligence, though - because intelligence can be measured in more ways than on paper. These tests do not take into account your memory, general knowledge, people skills etc!
