does anyone out there play poker for a living texas holdem if so what tips do you have to start from novice to be able to make it a profession

making a living at poker is about as hard as trying to be pro athlete.

but quickest way to get to pro is by reading 3 books, "harrington on holdem", "super system 2", and finally "ace on the river"

all the good players are being born on the internet now and days cuz u get to see the most hands per hour. start at the penny tables/5 dollar SNG's and work your way up. But to make any real money online your going to have to play at least 4 tables at the same time, once you're ready.
