Is it just me or does anyone else think german poker players are donkeys?

For anyone who doesnt know what donkey means it is term used in poker for players who make the worst calls in poker. It seems every time I play internet poker I come across a bunch of german players who call your raises with worst hands, try to bluff evey pot with unreal over bets and call your all ins with gut shots, low pair, mid pair! People should know what Im talking about especially on PARTY POKER they flock there like some kind of german reunion

I've noticed the same thing and let me just say...

So let’s start with the term – limp. To limp means to call during the first round of betting, before the flop has been dealt. Since you do not have any control over the other player and mainly depend on the flop to make a winning hand, limping is considered as a weak play.

Fish is a poker lingo that is quite broad, but most commonly refers to new players. If you are a beginner in poker, then you will be perceived by your opponents to be a fish, someone who has a limited understanding about the game and can be taken advantage on for profit.

Undoubtedly, you will never want to be called a donkey, which is the most commonly used insult in poker. A player is usually called a donkey if his game play is bad. However, just like any other insult, it can be used widely and in any indistinctly derogatory manner.

When you hear the poker term tilt or on tilt or tilting, it means that a player loses control of his sensible playing techniques. These players who are on tilt make unwise decisions and generally play very badly by making mistakes they would not usually commit. This usually occurs when one of their opponents gets very lucky over them which is also known as bad beat.
