On 1/28/2010 at approximately 1:45am ET or so. Party Poker in their infinite wisdom took both Party Poker.com and Party Poker.net sites down for what was said to have been maintenance of their servers. At 5:00ET the servers came back online and everyone now has 250K in their bank. There are new rules at Party Poker limiting the size of your bank to 250K. Keep in mind you can go over 250K but when you sign off you will lose anything over the 250K bank limit. So most players have moved on to different sites. This is very sad for me because it wasn't all about poker but also about the friends I made around the world that I played with on a nightly basis. We all spent most of the day 1/29/2010 saying our goodbyes and arranging other ways to communicate with each other as in Yahoo/email or other poker sites online. Its been a very sad day for a lot of people.
