Is it OK to do an 18th party with just mainstream top 10/top 40 hits?
I'm a DJ but I only play chart hits that are played on mainstream radio. I am frightened that if I got booked for an 18th they will expect me to play underground club music that I won't know for the entire duration.
Here's a taster of the genres/songs I would play at an 18th party.

Also how long is the average 18th party?
Your list looks great but perhaps you should ring them up and double check it's there 18th and you don't want to ruin their night if they really hate mainstream 'pop' to be on the safe side why not add 2 less well known songs on each list. Also 18th's can vary quite substanitally in length usually 8-1 or 9-2 so be prepared for 4 - 5 hours. Good luck!
