Well, the Pros are I think that they are online, but the cons are you can ONLY play Poker.
The Best 3 Video Games of 2009
It’s almost the end of 2009 which means that everyone and every web site is going to be making their year end lists. The year end list is a popular way for magazines and websites to show how unique and clever they are, with many of them trying hard to have the most obscure or creative list around, often namechecking games or music that no one has heard of or cares about. Hopefully this list isn’t like those others. Here is my list of the hands down best video games of 2009, for any system.

A popular choice, but an undeniable one, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is a landmark game that will go down in history as one of the best games of this generation, and the best game for the PS3, hands down. The decade has been the decade of open world, “sandbox” games, so much so that the genre was becoming stale and boring. The great thing about Uncharted 2 is how much plays like an old-school platforming, jumping cliffs, beating up bad guys, but at the same time, it feels so expansive and open world while it is really pretty linear. The story, the artwork and the voiceover work is all top of the notch, on par with the best games of this generation, you can bet your custom poker chips on it. It wasn’t the most unique or creative game but it polished all the amazing things about new generation shooter platformers that no game before or since can compare.
Space Invaders Extreme 2 (DS)
I am a fan of simple games and the original Space Invaders is about simple a concept as one could find. You are a space ship and you shoot at alien things. That’s about it. In this reboot/remake of the original Space Invaders, the developers have taken the great, simple idea of shooting space invaders and added lots of flashing lights, techno music, mini games and weapon upgrades to make the Extreme remake one of the most fun games I’ve played all year. The great thing about Extreme 2 is that they have synched up every space ship shot with the music, to make Extreme 2 almost a rhythm/shooting game like the classic Rez. Space Invaders Extreme 2 is a proof that you don’t have to have the biggest budget or best graphics around to great a great game.
Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360)
Another example of how a developer can do everything right in taking a winning formula and piling on even more great features to create the ultimate gaming experience. The first Left 4 Dead was a groundbreaking game in the way it forced you to work as a team to survive the undead hordes, but in Left 4 Dead 2 that same factor of teamwork is included but is beefed up even more, with rainstorms and blackouts forcing you to keep your group together and strategize to stay alive. You won’t find a more frustrating and fun multiplayer game out there on any system.
